Cássio Loureiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Angélico Vaz in the 12th minute. 17 minutes into the match, SC Angrense's goalkeeper Cássio Loureiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Afonso Medeiros. Teodoro Aragão hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Quintino Quinaz got free with Cássio Loureiro in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice moves Angélico Vaz could shoot a difficult shot in the 21st minute, which Cássio Loureiro however easily saved by the left post. Cássio Loureiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eusébio Freire, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cássio Loureiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aldaír Veiga in the 23rd minute of play. Quintino Quinaz kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Marcos Machado took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Martinho Nunes. Martinho Nunes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After having played for 31 minutes, Angélico Vaz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MZ Fénix's supporters crossed their fingers, but Angélico Vaz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. SC Angrense's Cássio Loureiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aldaír Veiga in the 34th minute of play. Aldaír Veiga received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cássio Loureiro came out and tried to block the shot, but Aldaír Veiga slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 37th minute. Angélico Vaz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 42nd minute Afonso Medeiros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cássio Loureiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The wind increased when Aldaír Veiga made the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes of play, MZ Fénix's Aldaír Veiga made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cássio Loureiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! MZ Fénix's Angélico Vaz got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aldaír Veiga in the 60th minute of play forced SC Angrense's goalkeeper Cássio Loureiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cássio Loureiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aldaír Veiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcos Machado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Martinho Nunes made a huge save. If Angélico Vaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cássio Loureiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Afonso Medeiros in the 74th minute of play. After 81 played minutes MZ Fénix got a freekick which was hit by Quintino Quinaz. Artur Rego could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Martinho Nunes made a huge save. Silvério Simões received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Cássio Loureiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 86th minute, Elias Estrela hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 86th minute of the match Maurício Mansilha sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cássio Loureiro skillfully saved the ball. After 87 played minutes SC Angrense got a freekick which was hit by Afonso Lage. Cássio Loureiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angélico Vaz in the 94th minute of play. Angélico Vaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
