After some careless play in the Altamora FC defense, Gusmão Leiria kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vítor Pádua. The Altamora FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vítor Pádua should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Higino Viveiros in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vítor Pádua saved Altamora FC from getting behind. Altamora FC's Vítor Pádua played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benedito Rego in the 17th minute of play. After 20 minutes of play, Altamora FC's Norberto Vilanova made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maurício Estrada was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Altamora FC's António Raminhos got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Altamora FC's Vítor Pádua played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hélder Resende in the 28th minute of play. Vítor Pádua showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gusmão Leiria, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. The supporters of Ɍυƒυs™ booed when Altamora FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salvador Curado didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Ɍυƒυs™'s Aldaír Lucena got a free kick in the 32nd minute. When Alexandre Graça fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ɍυƒυs™'s protests and gave Alexandre Graça a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Ɍυƒυs™'s Alexandre Graça got a free kick in the 36th minute. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vítor Pádua showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Maurício Estrada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maurício Quinaz in the 47th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Norberto Vilanova to make the kick off. Vítor Pádua was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Wilson Maciel showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 51 minute of play. Wilson Maciel's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Vítor Pádua firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 62nd minute, Gusmão Leiria made a precise shot to the right of Vítor Pádua. Altamora FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. Vítor Pádua made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gusmão Leiria in the 65th minute of play. Maurício Quinaz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Maurício Estrada tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 72 played minutes Ɍυƒυs™ got a freekick which was hit by Alex Arruda. Maurício Quinaz's late challenge caught a Ɍυƒυs™'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maurício Quinaz helped the player get up and apologised. After 74 played minutes Altamora FC got a freekick which was hit by Maurício Quinaz. Wilson Maciel kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. After 83 played minutes Ɍυƒυs™ got a freekick which was hit by Eusébio Quintanilha. In the 84th minute, Norberto Vilanova sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Ɍυƒυs™'s Maurício Estrada didn't even have to move. Wilson Maciel hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Maurício Quinaz got his second yellow card in the match during the 93rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 94th match minute, Altamora FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maurício Quinaz to maneuver through the defense. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Ɍυƒυs™ had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
