The audience thought a goal was coming when Afonso Bulhosa got free with Manuel Silveira in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Suprs Academia's Manuel Silveira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Suprs Academia from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Sporting Tuga FC's Diego Estrela got a free kick in the 16th minute. Vladimiro Meireles hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Marcelo Guerreiro struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Dário Vilar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Suprs Academia. Manuel Silveira made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Vladimiro Meireles sent off a good shot on target. Diego Estrela kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Dário Vilar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcelo Guerreiro went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Marcelo Guerreiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dário Vilar having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Sporting Tuga FC's Jordão Souto got a free kick in the 35th minute. In the 38th match minute, Sporting Tuga FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Afonso Bulhosa to maneuver through the defense. In the 63rd minute Marcelo Guerreiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dário Vilar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 64 minutes into the game, Arthur Zico was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Suprs Academia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sporting Tuga FC the free kick. A collision led to Suprs Academia getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Arthur Zico hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Afonso Bulhosa in the 65th minute of play forced Suprs Academia's goalkeeper Manuel Silveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 65 minutes into the game, Afonso Bulhosa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Manuel Silveira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Sporting Tuga FC defense, Arthur Zico kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dário Vilar. The Sporting Tuga FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dário Vilar should have stopped the shot. Arthur Zico scored 1-4 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dário Vilar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Sporting Tuga FC getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Albérico Camargo hit a great ball. Arthur Zico, 76 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Sporting Tuga FC's Dário Vilar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Sporting Tuga FC from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Sporting Tuga FC's Dário Vilar got control of the ball when Héctor Chirol tried to sneak it across the goal line. Salvador Rodrigues made in the 86th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Edgar Caneira however managed to control. Arthur Zico could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Dário Vilar made a huge save. In the 94th minute, Suprs Academia's Arthur Zico dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-5. Suprs Academia played a much better game than Sporting Tuga FC and deserved their victory. The Sporting Tuga FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
