When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Afonso Bulhosa made a kick off. Manuel Silveira made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Afonso Bulhosa sent off a good shot on target. Dário Vilar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arthur Zico in the 55th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 66 minutes, Manuel Silveira successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Dário Vilar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Héctor Chirol went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. Marcelo Guerreiro scored 9-0 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dário Vilar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
