Spectators: 165 (Terracing: 124, Seating: 38, VIP seats: 3) Pinhote FC's Herberto Bento started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ivo Lages kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. In the 8th minute Herberto Bento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Pinheiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 10 played minutes Pinhote FC got a freekick which was hit by Paulino Araújo. After having played for 11 minutes, Serafim Salvado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Freiburg 09's supporters crossed their fingers, but Serafim Salvado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolau Alvarenga in the 16th minute of play forced SC Freiburg 09's goalkeeper Paulo Pinheiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paulo Pinheiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Herberto Bento, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Paulo Pinheiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eusébio Salgueiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice moves Germano Júdice could shoot a difficult shot in the 33rd minute, which Alberto Domingos however easily saved by the left post. After 38 minutes of play, Pinhote FC's Herberto Bento made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Paulo Pinheiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Pinhote FC's Herberto Bento got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Paulo Pinheiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulino Araújo in the 45th minute of play. Paulo Pinheiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Herberto Bento, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Germano Júdice stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Paulo Pinheiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herberto Bento in the 52nd minute of the match. SC Freiburg 09's Paulo Pinheiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save SC Freiburg 09 from getting a goal against them. In the 54th minute, Herberto Bento got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Teodoro Ornelas kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Paulino Araújo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Paulo Pinheiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 64 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Pinhote FC! Pinhote FC:s Alberto Domingos showed great skill when he stopped Éder Conde:s penalty. 72 minutes into the match, Pinhote FC's goal looked a bit too open when Germano Júdice came free, but Alberto Domingos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alberto Domingos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Germano Júdice, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to SC Freiburg 09 getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Silvano Mesquita hit a great ball. Pinhote FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
