The corner led Sporting Clube Patrício's Reinaldo Quental to fire away a dangerous shot which Alcides Quinaz despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Reinaldo Quentals short, quick shot in the 9thth minute got Alcides Quinaz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Tarcísio Lopes charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tarcísio Lopes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. VETERANOS DA GUINÉ - FLF's Inácio Pinto was substituted for Sandro Moita. After a rather tough play, Sporting Clube Patrício's Tarcísio Lopes got a free kick in the 16th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Reinaldo Quental got free with Alcides Quinaz in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Belchior Pegado fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored VETERANOS DA GUINÉ - FLF's protests and gave Belchior Pegado a yellow card for diving instead. After 23 played minutes VETERANOS DA GUINÉ - FLF got a freekick which was hit by Belchior Pegado. Egídio Trindade's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 26thth minute, Alcides Quinaz skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a rather tough play, Sporting Clube Patrício's David Madeira got a free kick in the 34th minute. Alcides Quinaz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reinaldo Quental, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jordão Antunes was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of VETERANOS DA GUINÉ - FLF booed when Sporting Clube Patrício was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
