Hildeberto Godinho charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hildeberto Godinho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 2nd minute, Hildeberto Godinho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Joaquim Corte-Real's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lúcio Lopes was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. A nice corner shot did that Lucas Matos got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Lúcio Lopes quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Octávio Valério took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Januário Martins, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adérito Valverde hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Tarcísio Medeiros lost his temper 20 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 20 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Sabadim Harammes PRD! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Olívio Soares during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 25 minutes into the match, Arrebimba o Malho SLB's goal looked a bit too open when Danilo Teves came free, but Lúcio Lopes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Sabadim Harammes PRD's goal looked a bit too open when Ben Fica came free, but Octávio Valério reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lúcio Lopes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Danilo Teves in the 31st minute of the match. The supporters of Sabadim Harammes PRD booed when Arrebimba o Malho SLB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tarcísio Santarém didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lucas Matos was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 33rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After having played for 35 minutes, Januário Martins managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arrebimba o Malho SLB's supporters crossed their fingers, but Januário Martins was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. João Lameiras hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. When Ben Fica came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Arrebimba o Malho SLB fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ben Fica couldn't finish the play. Arrebimba o Malho SLB's Ben Fica got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 45th minute Januário Martins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octávio Valério saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. During the 46th minute of the match Olívio Soares completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Olívio Soares a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Olívio Soares kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ben Fica to strike the kick off in the second half. Hildeberto Godinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lúcio Lopes having to interfere. After 53 played minutes Sabadim Harammes PRD got a freekick which was hit by Danilo Teves. 60 minutes into the match, Arrebimba o Malho SLB's goal looked a bit too open when Hildeberto Godinho came free, but Lúcio Lopes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Octávio Valério made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ben Fica in the 63rd minute of play. In the 66th minute Ben Fica shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octávio Valério saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 69 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sabadim Harammes PRD's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tarcísio Santarém was slow to take the kick. During this time Arrebimba o Malho SLB's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Sabadim Harammes PRD's goalie and right to Ivo Coutinho. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Sabadim Harammes PRD's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 70 minutes into the match, Arrebimba o Malho SLB's Ivo Coutinho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Octávio Valério narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Octávio Valério made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ben Fica in the 79th minute of play. In the 80th minute Danilo Teves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lúcio Lopes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner led Sabadim Harammes PRD's Lucas Matos to fire away a dangerous shot which Lúcio Lopes despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Adérito Valverde received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Octávio Valério tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Josué Pais managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arrebimba o Malho SLB's supporters rose to their feet, but Josué Pais was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Octávio Valério breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Arrebimba o Malho SLB booed when Sabadim Harammes PRD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Lameiras didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Arrebimba o Malho SLB walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
