In the 14th minute Cassiano Castanheira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lúcio Lopes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Chihuahua StrikerS™ getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Lúcio Eanes hit a great ball. In the 17th match minute, Chihuahua StrikerS™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angélico Liberato to maneuver through the defense. If Ben Fica had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edgar Curado's late challenge caught a Chihuahua StrikerS™'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edgar Curado helped the player get up and apologised. In the 20th match minute, Arrebimba o Malho SLB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgar Curado to maneuver through the defense. Josué Pais hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Sabino Vilaverde took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 22nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lúcio Lopes. Arrebimba o Malho SLB's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgar Curado in the 24th minute of play forced Chihuahua StrikerS™'s goalkeeper Júlio Lemos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ben Fica during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Arrebimba o Malho SLB getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Ben Fica hit a great ball. With a little luck, Arrebimba o Malho SLB's Lúcio Lopes got control of the ball when Isidoro Vilarinho tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 34thth minute of the game Cassiano Castanheira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Arrebimba o Malho SLB's Lúcio Lopes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Isidoro Vilarinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 39th match minute, Chihuahua StrikerS™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dércio Pimenta to maneuver through the defense. 41 minutes into the game, Arrebimba o Malho SLB's Januário Martins nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Januário Martins was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute of the match Arrebimba o Malho SLB got a corner. Chihuahua StrikerS™'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Olívio Soares ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Arrebimba o Malho SLB's Josué Pais to fire away a dangerous shot which Júlio Lemos despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Lúcio Lopes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cassiano Castanheira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 62 minutes into the game, Chihuahua StrikerS™'s Isidoro Vilarinho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lúcio Lopes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Lúcio Lopes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cassiano Castanheira in the 68th minute of play. Lúcio Lopes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidoro Vilarinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Alex Santiago hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. After 88 minutes, Cassiano Castanheira made it 3-2 with a short kick to the right side. Arrebimba o Malho SLB's Lúcio Lopes tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 93rd minute of the match Chihuahua StrikerS™ got a corner. The corner led to Chihuahua StrikerS™'s Rogério Borges getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 96th minute of the match Sabino Vilaverde sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lúcio Lopes skillfully saved the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Chihuahua StrikerS™ fans cheered their team off the field, for while Arrebimba o Malho SLB had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
