After a rather tough play, Machados FC V2's Emanuel Aires got a free kick in the 36th minute. In the 39th minute, Vivaldo Prada got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Lázaro Carvalhal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 41 minutes into the match, Machados FC V2's goalkeeper Silvério Domingues had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alexandre Graça. Jorge Montenegro had several of the Machados FC V2's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 44 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-2 score and a disappointed Silvério Domingues as he didn't even see the shot coming. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fabrício Aires was the one to do the kick off. Amadeu Santos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ademar Branco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fabrício Aires could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Amadeu Santos made a huge save. Lázaro Carvalhal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Silvério Domingues having to make a save. A collision led to F.C. CORVOS MANCELOS getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Jorge Montenegro hit a great ball. CORVOS MANCELOS booed when Machados FC V2 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Aires didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 75th match minute, Machados FC V2 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vasco Neiva to maneuver through the defense. F.C. CORVOS MANCELOS's Jorge Montenegro took a good shot, in the 76th minute, which hit the crossbar above Silvério Domingues's head, and flew over the goal. Machados FC V2's manager was very thankful on the sidelines as his team had managed to keep the ball out of the net after some serious pressure by F.C. CORVOS MANCELOS. Hermenegildo Lucena hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. In the 79th minute, Jorge Montenegro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Silvério Domingues was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Henrique Benevides hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. With his leg Amadeu Santos managed to avoid a goal in the 94thth minute, when Machados FC V2's Fabrício Aires fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side.
