The supporters of Machados FC V2 booed when SC Braga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexandrino Bessa didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, SC Braga's Egídio Paixão got a free kick in the 11th minute. The audience was convinced that Vasco Paião's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Octávio Moita was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. With a little luck, SC Braga's Octávio Moita got control of the ball when Emanuel Aires tried to sneak it across the goal line. Silvério Domingues showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Honorato Calado, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. After having played for 26 minutes, Filipe Lustosa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Machados FC V2's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filipe Lustosa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 31st minute, Evandro Sardinha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 34th minute, Henrique Camargo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 36 played minutes SC Braga got a freekick which was hit by Egídio Paixão. If Vasco Paião had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emanuel Aires recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Octávio Moita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredo Carmona in the 51st minute of the match. After 52 played minutes SC Braga got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Pinheiro. After a rather tough play, SC Braga's Hugo Pinheiro got a free kick in the 55th minute. With a little luck, Machados FC V2's Silvério Domingues got control of the ball when Egídio Paixão tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Machados FC V2 fans' excitement grew in the 67th match minute when Machados FC V2's Vasco Paião looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 71st match minute, SC Braga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugo Pinheiro to maneuver through the defense. Machados FC V2's defense didn't have a chance, in the 74th minute, when Honorato Calado scored to the left of an out of position Silvério Domingues, making the score, 2-2. After 78 minutes of play, SC Braga's Egídio Paixão made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Silvério Domingues was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, SC Braga's Alexandrino Bessa got a free kick in the 81st minute. In the 82nd minute, Alfredo Carmona got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
