Spectators: 166 (Terracing: 125, Seating: 38, VIP seats: 3) São Francisco FC86's Fábio Moutinho started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hélder Trindade in the 8th minute of play forced São Francisco FC86's goalkeeper Rafael Esteves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 9th minute, Honorato Calado ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rafael Esteves was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Egídio Paixão hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. 20 minutes into the match, Egídio Paixão had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rafael Esteves. São Francisco FC86's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Egídio Paixão was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Rafael Esteves made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alexandrino Bessa in the 24th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pedro Moutinho in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Octávio Moita prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rafael Esteves made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Egídio Paixão sent off a good shot on target. In the 30th minute Hélder Trindade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafael Esteves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Honorato Calado to make the kick off. When São Francisco FC86's Pedro Moutinho in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Braga's goalie prevented a goal. Rafael Esteves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Honorato Calado in the 60th minute of play. In the 61st minute Pedro Moutinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octávio Moita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Alexandrino Bessa fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Braga's protests and gave Alexandrino Bessa a yellow card for diving instead. After 65 played minutes SC Braga got a freekick which was hit by Alexandrino Bessa. Rafael Esteves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gentil Vasques, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Octávio Moita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Moutinho in the 70th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Manuel Valente got free with Octávio Moita in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, Fábio Moutinho put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Octávio Moita. In the 82nd minute, Zarco Madureira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 90th minute, Honorato Calado left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Braga fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. In the 99th minute, Fábio Moutinho sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and SC Braga's Octávio Moita didn't even have to move. When the referee ended the match the SC Braga players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
