The supporters of FC Dundee booed when Dune was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tõnn Kraut didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paul Virmaline charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paul Virmaline the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Paul Virmaline hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Hannes Uusmaa's late challenge caught a Dune's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hannes Uusmaa helped the player get up and apologised. Ivari Olumets acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 11th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Tom Leis. Ivari Olumets made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Peeter Udal sent off a good shot on target. Hugo Nõmmiste made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arto Õunapuu in the 18th minute of play. If Hannes Uusmaa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Dundee's Hannes Uusmaa got his second yellow card of the match in the 22nd minute. The referee ordered Hannes Uusmaa off the ground. Hannes Uusmaa hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. 29 minutes into the match, FC Dundee's goal looked a bit too open when Tõnn Kraut came free, but Ivari Olumets reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute, Valdo Orumets hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 32nd minute Paul Virmaline shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivari Olumets saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peeter Udal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Ivari Olumets made a huge save.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arto Õunapuu was the one to do the kick off. Hugo Nõmmiste made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugo Allik in the 53rd minute of play. In the 58th minute of the match Priidu Nõu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ivari Olumets showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Hugo Allik hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. 71 minutes into the match, FC Dundee's goal looked a bit too open when Paul Virmaline came free, but Ivari Olumets reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hugo Allik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Hugo Nõmmiste tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Paul Virmaline had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sten Aruväli kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Ivari Olumets made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paul Virmaline in the 83rd minute of play. When Arto Õunapuu fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Dundee's protests and gave Arto Õunapuu a yellow card for diving instead. Arto Õunapuu kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Ivari Olumets showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paul Virmaline in the 90th minute of the match. 94 minutes into the game, Tõnis Aasamaa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dune's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Dundee the free kick. In the 94th minute, Tõnis Aasamaa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jass Enula recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Despite being the better team, FC Dundee failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
