Ilmar Kurg started the match with the kick off. Paul Virmaline received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Hugo Vanaliin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gerd Saareoja received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Hugo Nõmmiste tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 14 played minutes Dune got a freekick which was hit by Tom Leis. Hugo Nõmmiste took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ilmar Kurg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hugo Vanaliin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paul Virmaline in the 23rd minute of play. The supporters of JK Kurevere booed when Dune was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tõnn Kraut didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ilmar Kurg in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hugo Nõmmiste saved Dune from getting behind. 40 minutes into the game, Ilmar Kurg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Hugo Nõmmiste was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, JK Kurevere's Gerd Saareoja got a free kick in the 47th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Paul Virmaline was the one to do the kick off. If Ilmar Kurg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Hugo Nõmmiste showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ilmar Kurg in the 54th minute of the match. A collision led to Dune getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Paul Virmaline hit a great ball. JK Kurevere's Gerd Saareoja got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hugo Vanaliin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paul Virmaline, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Hugo Nõmmiste made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ilmar Kurg in the 68th minute. Ivar Meri struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Hugo Nõmmiste didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for JK Kurevere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ilmar Kurg in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hugo Nõmmiste prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Gerd Saareoja had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tõnn Kraut during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Dune getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Tõnn Kraut hit a great ball. In the 79th minute, Ivar Meri left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The JK Kurevere fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. When Gerd Saareoja fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored JK Kurevere's protests and gave Gerd Saareoja a yellow card for diving instead. Gerd Saareoja hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Dune's Hugo Nõmmiste proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Dune from getting a goal against them. JK Kurevere's Ilmar Kurg got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Paul Virmaline fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Vanaliin having to interfere. If Armin Roos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. JK Kurevere's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
