The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Kalle Astuja had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Einar Murumaa. Club Ahja's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kalle Astuja was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Valdur Rohi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Einar Murumaa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bert Kapten in the 9th minute of the match. Tom Õunapuu kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. In the 17th minute Ahti Tõruke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Einar Murumaa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Club Ahja's Einar Murumaa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kalle Astuja in the 19th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Hannes Kundla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Ahja's supporters rose to their feet, but Hannes Kundla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ahto Hõbe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Einar Murumaa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bert Kapten in the 26th minute of play. After 30 minutes, Valdur Rohi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Ahja and the Tapa Athlétic™ players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Club Ahja getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Valdur Rohi hit a great ball. Eiko Rajamäe hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Club Ahja's Argo Laenaja tried to score from far away in the 36th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Helmut Aab sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Taimo Äär managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Ahja's supporters rose to their feet, but Taimo Äär was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ahto Hõbe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Helmut Aab hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Janar Vanamets was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 55th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 57 minutes into the match, Club Ahja's goalkeeper Einar Murumaa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ahti Tõruke. Ahti Tõruke struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Einar Murumaa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tapa Athlétic™. During the 61st minute of the match Valdur Rohi completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Valdur Rohi a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Club Ahja getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Valdur Rohi hit a great ball. In the 68th minute Bert Kapten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Einar Murumaa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. One of Club Ahja:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Tapa Athlétic™:s goal. Einar Murumaa came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Tapa Athlétic™'s Janar Vanamets. But to his dismay, Janar Vanamets quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. If Argo Laenaja had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Argo Laenaja blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ahto Hõbe having to make a save. Einar Murumaa made a fantastic save in the 98th minute, when Ahti Tõruke sent off a good shot on target. The Club Ahja supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Tapa Athlétic™'s performance. The match ended with a win for Tapa Athlétic™.
