The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. FC Rebel's Ats Oolo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Meelis Kangro in the 5th minute of play. When Märt Lend came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the FC Rebel fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Märt Lend couldn't finish the play. Alvar Noobel struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Hando Vilo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Rebel. After 19 minutes, Aivo Koha mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tykhela FC and the FC Rebel players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of FC Rebel booed when Tykhela FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aivo Koha didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Rebel's Arni Pahapill got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hando Vilo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Märt Lend, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 27 played minutes Tykhela FC got a freekick which was hit by Aivo Koha. Meelis Kangro kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. 32 minutes into the game, FC Rebel's Märt Lend nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hando Vilo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Juss Äkke kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Laur Rammu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joonatan Ansip took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hando Vilo. Hando Vilo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juss Äkke in the 41st minute of play forced FC Rebel's goalkeeper Ats Oolo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Hando Vilo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Alvar Noobel showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 53 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Tykhela FC's Meelis Kangro got a free kick in the 56th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joonatan Ansip got free with Hando Vilo in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Laur Rammu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Tykhela FC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Janno Arulepp hit a great ball. 67 minutes into the game, Aksel Annama was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tykhela FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Rebel the free kick. Aksel Annama kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. With a little luck, Tykhela FC's Hando Vilo got control of the ball when Märt Lend tried to sneak it across the goal line. 69 minutes into the game, Teet Poltimäe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Rebel's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tykhela FC the free kick. A collision led to FC Rebel getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Teet Poltimäe hit a great ball. 70 minutes into the match, Meelis Kangro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ats Oolo. FC Rebel's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Meelis Kangro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aivo Koha in the 75th minute of play forced FC Rebel's goalkeeper Ats Oolo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Joonatan Ansip had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81st minute, Aivo Koha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Tykhela FC booed when FC Rebel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laur Rammu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 83rd minute Meelis Kangro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ats Oolo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Tykhela FC booed when FC Rebel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laur Rammu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Janno Arulepp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Ats Oolo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The FC Rebel players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
