The audience thought a goal was coming when Elmu Koppelmaa got free with Risto Leinatamm in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Grimório's Risto Leinatamm proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Grimório from getting a goal against them. If Tauno Aal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mait Velt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Volli Eltmaa got a throw-in 37 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Aapo Ainsoo. 38 minutes into the game, Aapo Ainsoo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Risto Leinatamm. Aapo Ainsoo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Volli Elts didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jaagup Valgupera went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dan Hernes during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 56th match minute, JULM C.F. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dan Hernes to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in JULM C.F.'s zone, Jaagup Valgupera stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Volli Elts came out of the goal and Jaagup Valgupera tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. During the 63rd minute of the match Dan Hernes completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Dan Hernes a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Dan Hernes kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Grimório's Mait Velt got a free kick in the 66th minute. In the 68th minute Elmu Koppelmaa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Risto Leinatamm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Meelis Õun in the 72nd minute of play forced Grimório's goalkeeper Risto Leinatamm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Meelis Õun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Risto Leinatamm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elmu Koppelmaa in the 90th minute of play forced Grimório's goalkeeper Risto Leinatamm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 96 minutes into the match, Grimório's goal looked a bit too open when Elmu Koppelmaa came free, but Risto Leinatamm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
