After 12 minutes Lord of the Wings's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Bowie Scully who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Bowie Scully got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ron Fife quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Healey Harkin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roy Walters in the 15th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the match, Bowie Scully notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Lord of the Wings's Ron Fife. Ron Fife was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Eoghan Barrett received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Patrick Dean made a kick off. Daniel McCutcheon lost his temper 63 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Ron Fife had in the 65thth minute some difficulties stopping Bowie Scully's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. A collision led to Lord of the Wings getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Roy Walters hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Lord of the Wings's Rob Coull got a free kick in the 74th minute. Wal McKersey hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. 1948 MKS's Becc McBrandon got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Lord of the Wings booed when 1948 MKS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patrick McPhil didn't get a good kick on the ball. 97 minutes into the match, Lord of the Wings's goal looked a bit too open when Eoghan Barrett came free, but Ron Fife reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
