An unexpectedly hard shot by Odilon Hodges in the 12th minute of play forced Forever Young's goalkeeper Novi Akmal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Forever Young's Novi Akmal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eugène Schmidt in the 15th minute of play. Pasha Limbong charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pasha Limbong the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 28 played minutes Forever Young got a freekick which was hit by Pasha Limbong. In the 29th minute Eugène Schmidt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Novi Akmal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 32nd minute, Raymond Sungkono hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With 34 minutes on the clock, Lane Ferland commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Novi Akmal didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 83rd minute, which inside left pole to 1-2. Novi Akmal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reynaldo Thacker in the 87th minute of the match. Forever Young's Raymond Sungkono got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dono Puspito took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Andy Gaston. Andy Gaston dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2.
