In the 18th minute Memed Ristiwan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roni Sawor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roni Sawor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tonton Kuswoyo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 27 minutes into the match, Imam Asmawan notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Putra Rewulu's Boyke Lembeck. Boyke Lembeck was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Parto Pramana's late challenge caught a Putra Rewulu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Parto Pramana helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to SAPI FC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Parto Pramana hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Memed Ristiwan in the 30th minute of play forced SAPI FC's goalkeeper Roni Sawor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Boyke Kartawidjaja charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Boyke Kartawidjaja the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ricky Setiadis short, quick shot in the 36thth minute got Boyke Lembeck to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Imam Asmawan got free with Boyke Lembeck in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 41 minutes had been played when some careless play by Putra Rewulu's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tri Habibie was slow to take the kick. During this time SAPI FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Imam Asmawan almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Putra Rewulu's Boyke Lembeck did a great save. Memed Ristiwan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind SAPI FC's goalkeeper Roni Sawor, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ricky Setiadi made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Boyke Kartawidjaja fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Roni Sawor, passed just outside the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fitrah Pandelaki in the 56th minute of play forced Putra Rewulu's goalkeeper Boyke Lembeck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roni Sawor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tonton Kuswoyo in the 61st minute of play. In the 64th minute, Ricky Setiadi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Boyke Kartawidjaja recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Roni Sawor made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tonton Kuswoyo in the 67th minute. Felix Birawa hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Ricky Setiadi managed to get in a good position for a shot. SAPI FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ricky Setiadi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Boyke Lembeck breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Through an outstanding action, after 77 minutes, Roni Sawor successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After having played for 87 minutes, Tonton Kuswoyo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Putra Rewulu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tonton Kuswoyo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 94 minutes into the match, Putra Rewulu's goal looked a bit too open when Ricky Setiadi came free, but Boyke Lembeck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 96th minute Ricky Setiadi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boyke Lembeck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Memed Ristiwan in the 97th minute of play forced SAPI FC's goalkeeper Roni Sawor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Putra Rewulu's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
