With a couple of smart ball manuevers Imam Asmawan in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cornelis Probohudono saved Dapotan Eagles Fc from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Dapotan Eagles Fc's Reynaldi Tarumanagara slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Roni Sawor. That made the score 1-1 after 12 minutes of play. When Ida Bagus Zaelani fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dapotan Eagles Fc's protests and gave Ida Bagus Zaelani a yellow card for diving instead. In the 14th minute, one of Dapotan Eagles Fc:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Dapotan Eagles Fc. Dapotan Eagles Fc:s Cornelis Probohudono showed great skill when he stopped Tri Habibie:s penalty. After 15 minutes of play, SAPI FC's Tri Habibie made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cornelis Probohudono was left in no man's land by his defense there! Martinus Lengkong hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Imam Asmawan struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Cornelis Probohudono didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SAPI FC. SAPI FC's Fitrah Pandelaki got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cornelis Probohudono took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Imam Asmawan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Dapotan Eagles Fc booed when SAPI FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fitrah Pandelaki didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.
