The supporters of Putra Rewulu booed when Fly T.T was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Darnell Youngblood didn't get a good kick on the ball. Olivier Slaughter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lexi Mangindaan, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. After some careless play in the Fly T.T defense, Memed Ristiwan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Olivier Slaughter. The Fly T.T fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Olivier Slaughter should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Memed Ristiwan in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Olivier Slaughter saved Fly T.T from getting behind. After 19 minutes, Tonton Kuswoyo made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Fly T.T's Olivier Slaughter tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Diodore Zepeda during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Fly T.T getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Burl Reeves hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Putra Rewulu's Memed Ristiwan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Olivier Slaughter. That made the score 4-0 after 36 minutes of play. After 39 minutes, Burl Reeves mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fly T.T and the Putra Rewulu players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 39th match minute, Fly T.T was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Burl Reeves to maneuver through the defense. Olivier Slaughter was a little too slow when Boyke Kartawidjaja got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 44th minute. The score was now 5-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Burl Reeves stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Muchlis Abidin made in the 57th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Fly T.T's Gerry Boles. In the 70th minute Boyke Kartawidjaja shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olivier Slaughter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 72 minutes into the game, Memed Ristiwan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Olivier Slaughter was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Olivier Slaughter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Memed Ristiwan, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. After 80 played minutes Fly T.T got a freekick which was hit by Léonard Keys. Tonton Kuswoyo struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. When the match clock showed 95 minutes, the score became 7-0 when Memed Ristiwan sped through Fly T.T's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Olivier Slaughter. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Putra Rewulu fully deserved thier win.
