If Lee Tee had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mark Lam received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Tommy Duvall tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Antoine Nix's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 14thth minute, Sajeev Mathews skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The Persepolis F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 17th match minute when Persepolis F.C.'s Antoine Nix looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 19th minute, Mickey Gareau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 23rd minute, Valentin Sloan fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Sajeev Mathews, passed just outside the right post. LiverBird Flyers FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 25th minute, when Antoine Nix scored to the left of an out of position Sajeev Mathews, making the score, 2-1. Lee Tee recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 32 minutes into the match, LiverBird Flyers FC's goalkeeper Sajeev Mathews had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antoine Nix. If Mickey Gareau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tommy Duvall showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lee Tee, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. After having played for 45 minutes, Bineesh Tian managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LiverBird Flyers FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bineesh Tian was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Bineesh Tian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Lee Tee made the kick off in the second half. Zafran Choo kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. 3-1 became the score in the 53rd minute when Antoine Nix elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Sajeev Chong struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Tommy Duvall didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LiverBird Flyers FC. After a defensive mix-up in Persepolis F.C.'s zone, Bineesh Tian stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Duvall came out of the goal and Bineesh Tian tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tommy Duvall showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lee Tee, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. In the 66th minute, Lee Tee got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sajeev Mathews showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sylvain Minton, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antoine Nix in the 70th minute of play forced LiverBird Flyers FC's goalkeeper Sajeev Mathews to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bineesh Tian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Duvall having to interfere.
