Santiago Hatch made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Douglas Bourgeois during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Douglas Bourgeois hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. In the 14th match minute, Glintung FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zaini Kotto to maneuver through the defense. In the 16th minute, Muchtar Anjasmara made a precise shot to the right of Santiago Hatch. Marshrose's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Muchtar Anjasmara hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Myron Gant fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patar Puang having to interfere. After 29 played minutes Marshrose got a freekick which was hit by Henry Fair. Daniel Krishna took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 30th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Santiago Hatch. Marshrose's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Santiago Hatch came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Glintung FC's Hardy Moerdani. But to his dismay, Hardy Moerdani quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Santiago Hatch showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fadhly Gustaman, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yusril Sirait in the 39th minute of play forced Marshrose's goalkeeper Santiago Hatch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 41 minutes of play, Glintung FC's Hardy Moerdani made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Santiago Hatch was left in no man's land by his defense there! Santiago Hatch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hardy Moerdani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Léon Sweeney to strike the kick off in the second half. When the match clock showed 55 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Fadhly Gustaman sped through Marshrose's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Santiago Hatch. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Hardy Moerdani took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Santiago Hatch to make any attempt to save it. Patar Puang took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Myron Gant, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Glintung FC made a substitution. Udin Damara replaced Fadhly Gustaman. 86 minutes into the match, Hardy Moerdani had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Santiago Hatch. Marshrose's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hardy Moerdani was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8. Santiago Hatch made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hardy Moerdani in the 89th minute. Udin Damara struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Santiago Hatch didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Glintung FC. 96 minutes into the match, Marshrose's goalkeeper Santiago Hatch had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hardy Moerdani. The Marshrose fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Glintung FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
