Steven Rajah made an important save on a dangerous shot by Léon Sweeney in the 4th minute. Léon Sweeney could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Steven Rajah made a huge save. Santiago Hatch came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by NFH Family United's Farhan Kool. But to his dismay, Farhan Kool quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Léon Sweeney fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Steven Rajah having to interfere. After 28 minutes of play, NFH Family United's Felix Chew made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Santiago Hatch was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Myron Gant fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Marshrose's protests and gave Myron Gant a yellow card for diving instead. After 33 played minutes NFH Family United got a freekick which was hit by Prime Hsi. Marshrose's Santiago Hatch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Chew in the 38th minute of play. A collision led to Marshrose getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Quincy Barrow hit a great ball. Felix Chew scored 0-3 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Santiago Hatch, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Marshrose players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. NFH Family United were winning 0-3.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Myron Gant in the 54th minute of play forced NFH Family United's goalkeeper Steven Rajah to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felix Chew got free with Santiago Hatch in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 62nd minute Farhan Kool shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santiago Hatch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Enoch Christopher kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. After 66 played minutes Marshrose got a freekick which was hit by Enoch Christopher. Victor Ramachandran recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 69 minutes into the game, Felix Chew cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Santiago Hatch was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 77 minutes, Henry Fair mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Marshrose and the NFH Family United players grew even worse after the yellow card. Henry Fair hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. In the 77th minute of the match Victor Ramachandran sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Santiago Hatch skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of Marshrose booed when NFH Family United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wei Xuan Yeo didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Victor Ramachandran fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored NFH Family United's protests and gave Victor Ramachandran a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Marshrose booed when NFH Family United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victor Ramachandran didn't get a good kick on the ball. Steven Rajah showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Léon Sweeney, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Steven Rajah took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Léon Sweeney, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The NFH Family United players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
