The tension between the Begu Ganjang and the Varennes players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 17th minute, Odoy Luntungan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Eduard Suryadinata came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Begu Ganjang fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eduard Suryadinata couldn't finish the play. Juste Reynolds showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dodi Hermansyah in the 29th minute of the match. Begu Ganjang's Buyung Tendean proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Begu Ganjang from getting a goal against them. Oon Sutisna's late challenge caught a Varennes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Oon Sutisna helped the player get up and apologised. After 31 played minutes Begu Ganjang got a freekick which was hit by Oon Sutisna. Lyman Peacock hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Eduard Suryadinata hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rudy Cherry to strike the kick off in the second half. Arden Turner charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arden Turner the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Arden Turner hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. After 64 played minutes Begu Ganjang got a freekick which was hit by Wendy Widura. When Varennes's Rudy Cherry in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Begu Ganjang's goalie prevented a goal. 68 minutes into the match, Begu Ganjang's goal looked a bit too open when Arden Turner came free, but Buyung Tendean reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juste Reynolds made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Dodi Hermansyah sent off a good shot on target. If Wendy Widura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 80 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Varennes! Varennes:s Juste Reynolds showed great skill when he stopped Yoyo Yom:s penalty. 86 minutes into the match, Begu Ganjang's goal looked a bit too open when Rudy Cherry came free, but Buyung Tendean reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 89th minute, Yoyo Yom hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Arden Turner came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Varennes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arden Turner couldn't finish the play. Buyung Tendean showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tony Villeneuve, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Begu Ganjang succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Varennes had controlled the match.
