But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Makbul Subarkah couldn't finish the play. Toto Kalengkongan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nguyễn Cong Vinh, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Judika Wirayudha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Makbul Subarkah got free with Vũ Minh in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sài Gòn's Nguyễn Thanh Bình managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Judika Wirayudha in the 14 minute of the game. The Sài Gòn fans' excitement grew in the 15th match minute when Sài Gòn's Lê Hung looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Firdaus Barus received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Vũ Minh came out and tried to block the shot, but Firdaus Barus slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 18th minute. From a short distance, ROYALFOX FC's Firdaus Barus, in the 24th minute, tried to place the ball behind Vũ Minh, but the ball hit the right post on the wrong side and went out. Sài Gòn's Vũ Minh played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Makbul Subarkah in the 24th minute of play. Vũ Minh made an important save on a dangerous shot by Firdaus Barus in the 26th minute. In the 27th minute, ROYALFOX FC's Aam Pesolima dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. 31 minutes into the match, Sài Gòn's goal looked a bit too open when Firdaus Barus came free, but Vũ Minh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Firdaus Barus who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 32ndth minute tested the skills of Vũ Minh when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a little luck, Sài Gòn's Vũ Minh got control of the ball when Makbul Subarkah tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Sài Gòn booed when ROYALFOX FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Galih Sirait didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nguyễn Cong Vinh to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Cornel Haddad got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nguyễn Thanh Bình fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Toto Kalengkongan having to interfere. Vũ Minh showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aam Pesolima in the 59th minute of the match. Vũ Minh didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when ROYALFOX FC's Firdaus Barus shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 5-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Makbul Subarkah scored 6-1 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vũ Minh, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. ROYALFOX FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Firdaus Barus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vũ Minh breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 83 minutes into the match, Sài Gòn's goal looked a bit too open when Makbul Subarkah came free, but Vũ Minh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Sài Gòn's zone, Aam Pesolima stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vũ Minh came out of the goal and Aam Pesolima tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vũ Minh showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aam Pesolima in the 89th minute of the match. 91 minutes into the game, Aam Pesolima cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-1. Vũ Minh was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Vũ Minh made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Firdaus Barus in the 95th minute of play. ROYALFOX FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
