Spectators: 186 (Terracing: 140, Seating: 43, VIP seats: 3) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Pedro Dikaté made the kick off which started today's match. Pedro Vasques's late challenge caught a Sporting Angola's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pedro Vasques helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Set Fire's Pedro Vasques got a free kick in the 5th minute. In the 6th match minute, Set Fire was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ambrósio De Matos to maneuver through the defense. Alda Maurtio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Custódio Sampaio kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. A collision led to Sporting Angola getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Afonso Pegacho hit a great ball. Cláudio Correia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emirares Felício read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Sporting Angola's Afonso Pegacho got a free kick in the 15th minute. In the 17th minute of the match, Rogério Apalanga got a very nice opportunity to score, but Emirares Felício was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When Ailton Preto fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Set Fire's protests and gave Ailton Preto a yellow card for diving instead. Sporting Angola's Emílio Lando was substituted for David Rochedo. Ailton Preto kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Emílio Camarinha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alão Preto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Set Fire's zone, Pedro Galão stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emílio Camarinha came out of the goal and Pedro Galão tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Emílio Camarinha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alão Preto, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Afonso Pegacho kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. 35 minutes into the match, Sporting Angola's goalkeeper Emirares Felício had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rogério Apalanga. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tadeu Jacinto during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Tadeu Jacinto hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Afonso Pegacho charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Afonso Pegacho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 46th minute of the match Cláudio Correia shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Emirares Felício showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alão Preto to make the kick off. Pedro Vasques got his second yellow card in the match during the 52nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 52nd match minute, Set Fire was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Vasques to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Sporting Angola getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Pedro Galão hit a great ball. Emílio Camarinha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Galão in the 55th minute of the match. Alão Preto received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Emílio Camarinha came out and tried to block the shot, but Alão Preto slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 57th minute. When Afonso Pegacho was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 59 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Sporting Angola's Afonso Pegacho got a free kick in the 60th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emílio Lando during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 61st minute, Emílio Lando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emirares Felício made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Dikaté in the 62nd minute of play. Emílio Camarinha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Custódio Sampaio in the 64th minute of the match. In the 67th play minute Alão Preto came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Emílio Camarinha. 0-2. Emirares Felício made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Dikaté in the 70th minute of play. Set Fire's Emílio Camarinha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Galão in the 73rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Alão Preto could shoot a difficult shot in the 80th minute, which Emílio Camarinha however easily saved by the left post. 82 minutes into the match, Sporting Angola's goal looked a bit too open when Cláudio Correia came free, but Emirares Felício reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Set Fire booed when Sporting Angola was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alda Maurtio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Sporting Angola defense, Pedro Dikaté kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emirares Felício. The Sporting Angola fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emirares Felício should have stopped the shot. Sporting Angola's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
