Oslo City FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Suleskard the free kick. Suleskard's Alfred Fjellestad was substituted for Odd Sandven. After a rather tough play, Oslo City FC's Dagfinn Nergaard got a free kick in the 31st minute. Jørund Bruun hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. The supporters of Suleskard booed when Oslo City FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sindre Anwar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tor-Henrik Rosenlunds short, quick shot in the 36thth minute got Theodor Sandal to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Skadberg in the 37th minute of play forced Oslo City FC's goalkeeper Theodor Sandal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tor-Henrik Rosenlund got free with Theodor Sandal in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The Suleskard fans' excitement grew in the 52nd match minute when Suleskard's Tor-Henrik Rosenlund looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 61 minutes into the match, Tor-Henrik Rosenlund notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Oslo City FC's Theodor Sandal. Theodor Sandal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Oslo City FC's Theodor Sandal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tor-Henrik Rosenlund in the 68th minute of play. If Johan Helle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72nd minute, Oslo City FC's Sindre Anwar dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. 75 minutes into the game, Suleskard's Tor-Henrik Rosenlund nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Theodor Sandal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. A collision led to Suleskard getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Iver Heggheim hit a great ball. Christian Skadberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Theodor Sandal having to interfere. 95 minutes into the match, Tor-Henrik Rosenlund notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Oslo City FC's Theodor Sandal. Theodor Sandal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Suleskard walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
