Spectators: 176 (Terracing: 133, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) An unexpectedly hard shot by Alf-Inge Kruse in the 7th minute of play forced Gædd FK's goalkeeper Ludvig Hilstad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 10th minute Alf-Inge Kruse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ludvig Hilstad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 20 played minutes Gædd FK got a freekick which was hit by Kenneth Stordahl. If Kenneth Stordahl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Karsten Zakariassen's late challenge caught a Saga TF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Karsten Zakariassen helped the player get up and apologised. After 34 played minutes Gædd FK got a freekick which was hit by Karsten Zakariassen. Karl Granberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Henrik Langholm made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Henrik Lillemo sent off a good shot on target. 41 minutes into the game, Henrik Lillemo lined in a short shot 3-0 behind a frustrated Henrik Langholm. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Henrik Lillemo made a kick off. In the 55th match minute, Saga TF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jon Bolme to maneuver through the defense. Jan-Frode Sørby fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ludvig Hilstad having to interfere. A collision led to Saga TF getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Jon Bolme hit a great ball. Preben Bjerga's late challenge caught a Saga TF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Preben Bjerga helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Saga TF booed when Gædd FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Preben Bjerga didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Preben Bjerga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Gædd FK's Karsten Zakariassen got a free kick in the 76th minute. Preben Bjerga scored 4-0 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Henrik Langholm, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 89 minutes, Kenneth Stordahl managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gædd FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kenneth Stordahl was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gædd FK's Jarle Iqbal got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
