Christoffer Smestad came out and tried to block the shot, but Morten Kråkenes slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 9th minute. Eilert Sverdrup charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eilert Sverdrup the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Oslo City FC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Suleskard's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Oslo City FC the free kick. A collision led to Suleskard getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Gjermund Naustdal hit a great ball. In the 35th minute, Eilert Clausen made a precise shot to the right of Theodor Sandal. Oslo City FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Theodor Sandal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eilert Clausen in the 42nd minute of play. 45 minutes into the game, Sindre Anwar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Oslo City FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Suleskard the free kick. In the 45th minute, Sindre Anwar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Morten Kråkenes to make the kick off. In the 51st match minute, Oslo City FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eilert Sverdrup to maneuver through the defense. After 52 minutes of play Suleskard's Gjermund Naustdal was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Gjermund Naustdal hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. 56 minutes into the game, Petter Ryen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Theodor Sandal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Theodor Sandal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petter Ryen in the 62nd minute of play. Christoffer Smestad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Johan Helle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Theodor Sandal made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Ludvik Sundt sent off a good shot on target. Petter Ryen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Theodor Sandal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 81st minute, Sindre Anwar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 85 minutes, Petter Ryen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Suleskard's supporters crossed their fingers, but Petter Ryen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Petter Ryen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Theodor Sandal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Suleskard left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Oslo City FC.
