Spectators: 191 (Terracing: 144, Seating: 44, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Stig-Inge Skjold got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute of the match, Vebjørn Dyb got a very nice opportunity to score, but Kenneth Schanke was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tor-Arne Waaler during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, AC Wipes's Tor-Arne Waaler got a free kick in the 9th minute. After 13 minutes of play, The Nerd Herd's Vebjørn Dyb made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kenneth Schanke was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vebjørn Dyb in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kenneth Schanke prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 18th minute, Theodor Tobiassen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 25 minutes into the game, Vebjørn Dyb cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Kenneth Schanke was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 28 minutes, Magne Georgsen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the The Nerd Herd and the AC Wipes players grew even worse after the yellow card. AC Wipes's Kenneth Schanke proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save AC Wipes from getting a goal against them. Kenneth Schanke made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vebjørn Dyb in the 35th minute. In the 38th minute, one of AC Wipes:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for AC Wipes. When the match had been going on for 40 minutes, The Nerd Herd's Vebjørn Dyb got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Kenneth Schanke. A collision led to The Nerd Herd getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Dagfinn Ringvold hit a great ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ola Nysted to make the kick off. Tor-Arne Waaler hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. After having played for 52 minutes, Vebjørn Dyb managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Nerd Herd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vebjørn Dyb was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Nerd Herd's Arnstein Øvereng proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save The Nerd Herd from getting a goal against them. Vebjørn Dyb recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jon-Erik Isdal got a throw-in 62 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Gabriel Svanes. Kenneth Schanke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vebjørn Dyb in the 69th minute of play. Jon-Erik Isdal's late challenge caught a The Nerd Herd's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jon-Erik Isdal helped the player get up and apologised. After 73 played minutes AC Wipes got a freekick which was hit by Jon-Erik Isdal. Hugo Årvik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 81st minute, Hugo Årvik ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arnstein Øvereng was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. When Hugo Årvik came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the AC Wipes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hugo Årvik couldn't finish the play. The Nerd Herd were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of AC Wipes for a fine match.
