The referee showed Arild Bekkelund the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 7th minute, Arild Bekkelund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 18 minutes, Ola Nysted mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the The Nerd Herd and the Cheeky Nuts United players grew even worse after the yellow card. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 23 played minutes The Nerd Herd got a freekick which was hit by Ådne Blomvik. Vebjørn Dyb's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gabriel Mogstad read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Arild Bekkelund kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Gabriel Mogstad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vebjørn Dyb, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. The long shot by Hauk Horne in the 45th minute really tested Arnstein Øvereng's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 48thth minute of the game Vebjørn Dyb who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cheeky Nuts United's Gabriel Mogstad was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ola Nysted to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 61st minute, Vebjørn Dyb hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gabriel Mogstad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vebjørn Dyb in the 63rd minute of the match. In the 69th minute, Vebjørn Dyb ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gabriel Mogstad was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Vebjørn Dyb managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Nerd Herd's supporters rose to their feet, but Vebjørn Dyb was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gabriel Mogstad breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gabriel Mogstad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ola Nysted, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Cheeky Nuts United were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
