The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Kenneth Schanke made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nicholas Kråkenes in the 5th minute. Nicholas Kråkenes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Kenneth Schanke made a huge save. AC Wipes's Kenneth Schanke proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save AC Wipes from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the AC Wipes defense, Nicholas Kråkenes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kenneth Schanke. The AC Wipes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kenneth Schanke should have stopped the shot. Joar Kløvstad didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lars Landmark went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. When Halvor Muren fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AC Wipes's protests and gave Halvor Muren a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of AC Wipes booed when team pollen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan-Ivar Marken didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joar Kløvstad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lars Landmark in the 32nd minute of play. Ove Haukenes struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Joar Kløvstad didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AC Wipes. After a rather tough play, team pollen's Jan-Ivar Marken got a free kick in the 36th minute. Kristen Einarsen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kenneth Schanke having to make a save. Steinar Taraldsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joar Kløvstad having to interfere. 45 minutes into the match, team pollen's goal looked a bit too open when Steinar Taraldsen came free, but Joar Kløvstad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The wind increased when Nicholas Kråkenes made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Kristen Einarsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kenneth Schanke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kenneth Schanke showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicholas Kråkenes, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Steinar Taraldsen showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-4. 76 minutes into the match, AC Wipes's goal looked a bit too open when Kristen Einarsen came free, but Kenneth Schanke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kenneth Schanke showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christer Aspelund in the 89th minute of the match. Kenneth Schanke took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicholas Kråkenes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 96 minutes into the game, Eric Haveland was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AC Wipes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave team pollen the free kick. The supporters of team pollen booed when AC Wipes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eric Haveland didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chants of AC Wipes echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as team pollen had held the ball for most of the match.
