Philip Molland stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vebjørn Dyb's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. After having played for 20 minutes, Dagfinn Ringvold managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Nerd Herd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dagfinn Ringvold was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vebjørn Dyb's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 26thth minute, Philip Molland skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Vebjørn Dybs short, quick shot in the 27thth minute got Philip Molland to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 30 minutes of play Brufoss IL's Edvin Fleischer was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Brufoss IL's Edvin Fleischer got a free kick in the 30th minute. 41 minutes into the match, Brufoss IL's goal looked a bit too open when Dagfinn Ringvold came free, but Philip Molland reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 44 played minutes The Nerd Herd got a freekick which was hit by Theodor Tobiassen.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ludvig Lunden stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 56 minutes, Eskil Almaas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Brufoss IL and the The Nerd Herd players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Brufoss IL getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Eskil Almaas hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in The Nerd Herd's zone, Rune Skorstad stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arnstein Øvereng came out of the goal and Rune Skorstad tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Brufoss IL made a substitution. Odin Huse replaced Ludvig Lunden. Vebjørn Dyb sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A sloppy throw-in by Leif Mæhlum in the 75th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by The Nerd Herd's Theodor Tobiassen. A throw-in in the 76th minute of the game was made by Rune Skorstad with Leif Mæhlum as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Odin Huse took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arnstein Øvereng. Arnstein Øvereng dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 84th minute Dagfinn Ringvold shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Philip Molland saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Philip Molland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vebjørn Dyb, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Philip Molland made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vebjørn Dyb in the 91st minute of play. In the 93rd minute Odin Huse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnstein Øvereng saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dagfinn Ringvold struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Philip Molland didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Nerd Herd. Brufoss IL were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
