AEK FC's Ole Lorentzen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save AEK FC from getting a goal against them. Ingvar Nordanger kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Kristian Amdal's late challenge caught a AEK FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kristian Amdal helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of AEK FC booed when Cheeky Nuts United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kristian Amdal didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 16 played minutes AEK FC got a freekick which was hit by Eric Reppe. Ole Lorentzen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kristian Amdal, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 18th minute Ingvar Nordanger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Mogstad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 19 minutes into the game, Finn-Christian Hjelvik was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cheeky Nuts United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AEK FC the free kick. A collision led to Cheeky Nuts United getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Finn-Christian Hjelvik hit a great ball. In the 20th match minute, AEK FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Asgeir Lam to maneuver through the defense. 21 minutes into the match, Kristian Amdal notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of AEK FC's Ole Lorentzen. Ole Lorentzen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gabriel Mogstad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ingvar Nordanger, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Torkel Svendsen might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ole Lorentzen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. In the 41stth minute of the game Martin Hansen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cheeky Nuts United's Gabriel Mogstad was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Martin Hansen was the one to do the kick off. In the 51stth minute of the game Martin Hansen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cheeky Nuts United's Gabriel Mogstad was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ole Lorentzen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hauk Horne went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Gabriel Mogstad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chris Bjørsvik in the 89th minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, Cheeky Nuts United could leave the field as winners, despite AEK FC having more of the ball for most of the match.
