FC Pladask's Bjørn Engelund proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save FC Pladask from getting a goal against them. 21 minutes into the match, FC Pladask's goal looked a bit too open when Audun Østenstad came free, but Bjørn Engelund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Jan-Kenneth Øglænd hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emil Wennevold sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 28thth minute of the game Audun Østenstad who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Pladask's Bjørn Engelund was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fredrik Ophus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albert Bergerud, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fredrik Ophus didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jan-Kenneth Øglænd went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. In the 42nd minute, Jan-Kenneth Øglænd hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 45th minute, Albert Bergerud ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fredrik Ophus was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. A collision led to FC Pladask getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Albert Bergerud hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Preben Fonnes had a good opportunity to score a goal in the 49th minute, but the ball went on the wrong side of the left post. Torstein Hansson was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 54 minutes into the match. In the 53rd minute, one of FRANK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FRANK. Fredrik Ophus made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kristian Olafsen in the 59th minute. Jan-Kenneth Øglænd could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Fredrik Ophus made a huge save. Kristian Olafsen took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fredrik Ophus. Fredrik Ophus dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. Fredrik Ophus was a little too slow when Kristen Sollien got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 69th minute. The score was now 0-7. After 73 played minutes FRANK got a freekick which was hit by Emil Wennevold. Fredrik Ophus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albert Bergerud, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Kristen Sollien kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fredrik Ophus. That made the score 0-8 in the 77 minute of play. FRANK's Fredrik Ophus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kristen Sollien in the 81st minute of play. Fredrik Ophus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kristen Sollien, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute.
