With a left leg Kai-Arne Ulset saved KEZ Toppfotball from getting behind. Jan-Kenneth Øglænd came free with the goalkeeper in the 11th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Kai-Arne Ulset could save by the left post. In the 12th minute, FC Pladask's Kristen Sollien ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Kai-Arne Ulset. Kai-Arne Ulset yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Kristen Sollien took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Kai-Arne Ulset to make any attempt to save it. KEZ Toppfotball's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Olav Nydal in the 32nd minute. It was a well-played corner which Sebastian Angvik managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 33 minutes into the game, Filip Arctander was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Pladask's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KEZ Toppfotball the free kick. A collision led to FC Pladask getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Filip Arctander hit a great ball. Peter Mogen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Bjørn Engelund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 39 minutes into the game, Jarl Tveite was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. KEZ Toppfotball's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Pladask the free kick. A collision led to KEZ Toppfotball getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Jarl Tveite hit a great ball. Kai-Arne Ulset made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Jan-Kenneth Øglænd sent off a good shot on target. In the 44th minute of the match FC Pladask got a corner. KEZ Toppfotball's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jan-Kenneth Øglænd ran over to the corner to take the kick. FC Pladask's Jan-Kenneth Øglænd was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Kai-Arne Ulset in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 45 minutes into the match, KEZ Toppfotball's goalkeeper Kai-Arne Ulset had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kristian Olafsen. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Olav Nydal made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Olav Nydal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bjørn Engelund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peter Mogen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Bjørn Engelund made a huge save. Peter Mogen's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Bjørn Engelund firmly grabbed it by the left post. Bjørn Engelund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olav Nydal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. KEZ Toppfotball's Kai-Arne Ulset played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albert Bergerud in the 72nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Kristen Sollien's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kai-Arne Ulset was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. The supporters of FC Pladask booed when KEZ Toppfotball was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gjøran Nome didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kai-Arne Ulset showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kristen Sollien in the 87th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan-Kenneth Øglænd in the 88th minute of play forced KEZ Toppfotball's goalkeeper Kai-Arne Ulset to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee ended the match the FC Pladask players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
