Kai-Arne Ulset made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Audun Østenstad in the 2nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Audun Østenstad in the 5th minute of play forced KEZ Toppfotball's goalkeeper Kai-Arne Ulset to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to FRANK getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Sindre Evje hit a great ball. A hard shot by Olav Nydal from long distance, 11 minutes into the match, got Fredrik Ophus's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 12th match minute, KEZ Toppfotball was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christoffer Evju to maneuver through the defense. When Gjermund Kårstad fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KEZ Toppfotball's protests and gave Gjermund Kårstad a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, KEZ Toppfotball's Gjermund Kårstad got a free kick in the 15th minute. After a rather tough play, KEZ Toppfotball's Gjøran Nome got a free kick in the 21st minute. In the 24th match minute, KEZ Toppfotball was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peter Mogen to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of KEZ Toppfotball booed when FRANK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emil Wennevold didn't get a good kick on the ball. KEZ Toppfotball's Kai-Arne Ulset played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Audun Østenstad in the 29th minute of play. The supporters of KEZ Toppfotball booed when FRANK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fredrik Bostad didn't get a good kick on the ball. Christoffer Evju's late challenge caught a FRANK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Christoffer Evju helped the player get up and apologised. Peter Mogen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Fredrik Ophus made a huge save. Kai-Arne Ulset stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Audun Østenstad's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. After 47 minutes, Gjøran Nome mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KEZ Toppfotball and the FRANK players grew even worse after the yellow card.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Audun Østenstad to make the kick off. Audun Østenstads short, quick shot in the 54thth minute got Kai-Arne Ulset to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Kai-Arne Ulset made an important save on a dangerous shot by Audun Østenstad in the 55th minute. KEZ Toppfotball's Peter Mogen got his second yellow card of the match in the 56th minute. The referee ordered Peter Mogen off the ground. In the 57th minute, Peter Mogen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, KEZ Toppfotball's Kai-Arne Ulset got control of the ball when Audun Østenstad tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 60 minutes, Olav Nydal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KEZ Toppfotball's supporters crossed their fingers, but Olav Nydal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sebastian Angvik hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Audun Østenstad who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 65thth minute tested the skills of Kai-Arne Ulset when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Olav Nydal managed to get in a good position for a shot. KEZ Toppfotball's supporters rose to their feet, but Olav Nydal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fredrik Ophus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, KEZ Toppfotball's Gjøran Nome got a free kick in the 71st minute. When Torstein Hansson fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FRANK's protests and gave Torstein Hansson a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, FRANK's Konrad Glesnes got a free kick in the 77th minute. In the 78th minute, Olav Nydal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fredrik Ophus came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by KEZ Toppfotball's Gjøran Nome. But to his dismay, Gjøran Nome quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. FRANK's Audun Østenstad got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 86th minute, Audun Østenstad ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kai-Arne Ulset was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Kai-Arne Ulset didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Konrad Glesnes went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Audun Østenstad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kai-Arne Ulset having to interfere. The FRANK supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FRANK would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
