Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Erik Raastad in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Christoffer Bjørnsen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when John-Edvin Olstad got free with Jon Klakegg in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. John-Edvin Olstad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Jon Klakegg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Christoffer Bjørnsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erik Raastad in the 25th minute of the match. With a little luck, POPODARA F.C's Jon Klakegg got control of the ball when John-Edvin Olstad tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jon Klakegg came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Dum Dum Boys Athletics's John-Edvin Olstad. But to his dismay, John-Edvin Olstad quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. If John-Edvin Olstad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vegard Berdal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christoffer Bjørnsen having to interfere. After 42 minutes, Jim Torsvik mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dum Dum Boys Athletics and the POPODARA F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jim Torsvik hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Christoffer Bjørnsen came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by POPODARA F.C's Erik Raastad. But to his dismay, Erik Raastad quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Dum Dum Boys Athletics's John-Edvin Olstad got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jon Klakegg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Rogstad, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Jonathan Rogstad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Jon Klakegg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Dum Dum Boys Athletics fans cheered their team off the field, for while POPODARA F.C had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
