Jarl Lee kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. In the 17th minute, Philip Gjengedal made a precise shot to the right of Christoffer Bjørnsen. Dum Dum Boys Athletics's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. 24 minutes into the game, Even Dahl was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Laniakea's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dum Dum Boys Athletics the free kick. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Julius Stensen took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Christoffer Bjørnsen to make any attempt to save it. Even Dahl hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match.

The wind increased when John-Edvin Olstad made the kick off in the second half. Stian Bergseng hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. After 51 played minutes, Laniakea's Lars Wilhelmsen shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Christoffer Bjørnsen came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Laniakea reached it. In the 53rd minute, Julius Stensen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Laniakea fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Johannes Sønsteby fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christoffer Bjørnsen having to interfere. The referee felt a red card was in order, 58 minutes into the game, when Aksel Holm put in a rough tackle. In the 61st minute, Søren Harnes made a precise shot to the right of Christoffer Bjørnsen. Dum Dum Boys Athletics's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Christoffer Bjørnsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Søren Harnes in the 66th minute of the match. Christoffer Bjørnsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Søren Harnes, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. In the 82nd match minute, Laniakea was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Søren Harnes to maneuver through the defense. When Søren Harnes fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Laniakea's protests and gave Søren Harnes a yellow card for diving instead. After 87 played minutes Laniakea got a freekick which was hit by Søren Harnes. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Laniakea had played much better football throughout.
