With an all-out effort, Ballkam Sportsklubb's Cai Baardsen threw himself towards the right post 7 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tobias Lind, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a little luck, Laniakea's Cai Baardsen got control of the ball when Tobias Lind tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 15 played minutes Ballkam Sportsklubb got a freekick which was hit by Olaf Laursen. Jonathan Myrland received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Johan Haugo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tobias Lind in the 32ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Cai Baardsen, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Søren Myhr kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Johan Haugo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Myrland in the 36th minute of the match. In the 46th minute, Jarl Lee hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jonathan Myrland was the one to do the kick off. Laniakea's Cai Baardsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olaf Laursen in the 64th minute of play. In the 67th minute, Jonathan Myrland left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Laniakea fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. A collision led to Ballkam Sportsklubb getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Anton Kirkerud hit a great ball. In the 71st minute, Søren Harnes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 72 minutes, Kasper Flinta mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ballkam Sportsklubb and the Laniakea players grew even worse after the yellow card. Carl Kjelsrud charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The supporters of Laniakea booed when Ballkam Sportsklubb was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carl Kjelsrud didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Johan Haugo managed to avoid a goal in the 83rdth minute, when Laniakea's Jonathan Myrland fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side.
