Oscar Sollid hit a great ball. John-Edvin Olstad struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Kjetil-André Garberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dum Dum Boys Athletics. John-Edvin Olstad recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 8th minute, Christoffer Bjørnsen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kjetil-André Garberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by John-Edvin Olstad in the 13th minute. Kjetil-André Garberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aksel Holm in the 18th minute of the match. The supporters of Sagene IF booed when Dum Dum Boys Athletics was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stian Barka didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 23 played minutes Sagene IF got a freekick which was hit by Fredrik Henden. A collision led to Sagene IF getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Oscar Sollid hit a great ball. John-Edvin Olstad blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kjetil-André Garberg having to make a save. Oscar Sollid hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Jack Ågotnes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roald Fredheim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Dum Dum Boys Athletics's Christoffer Bjørnsen got a free kick in the 42nd minute. An unexpected shot in the 47th minute by Aksel Holm got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fredrik Henden made a kick off. After 52 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Sagene IF! 58 minutes into the match, Dum Dum Boys Athletics's goalkeeper Jack Ågotnes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fredrik Henden. In the 60th minute Oscar Sollid shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jack Ågotnes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 66thth minute of the game Aksel Holm who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sagene IF's Kjetil-André Garberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When John-Edvin Olstad came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Dum Dum Boys Athletics fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that John-Edvin Olstad couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers John-Edvin Olstad in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kjetil-André Garberg saved Sagene IF from getting behind. Kjetil-André Garberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christoffer Bjørnsen in the 82nd minute of the match. Jim Torsvik kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. In the 85th minute, Aksel Holm left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dum Dum Boys Athletics fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Kjetil-André Garberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of John-Edvin Olstad's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sagene IF's goalkeeper Kjetil-André Garberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Martin Jensrud during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Dum Dum Boys Athletics's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
