Rafael Cordarryl kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Leon Platense's Alejandro Ralondo got a free kick in the 8th minute. After some careless play in the Leon Platense defense, Cosme Turi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cecilio Garci. The Leon Platense fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cecilio Garci should have stopped the shot. Leon Platense's Cecilio Garci played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelo Erauso in the 19th minute of play. Cable a Tierra were awarded a corner in the 20th minute after Leon Platense's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Angelo Erauso took the corner. Danilo Demesio was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Leon Platense's Cecilio Garci played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danilo Demesio in the 20th minute of play. Marco Umbruso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cecilio Garci made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cosme Turi in the 27th minute of play. 29 minutes into the game, Ruperto Hegoi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Leon Platense's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cable a Tierra the free kick. Angelo Erauso might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cecilio Garci. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Angelo Erauso ran back to his position shaking his head. Cecilio Garci showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cosme Turi, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. After 33 played minutes Leon Platense got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Quin. 35 minutes into the match, Leon Platense's goal looked a bit too open when Cosme Turi came free, but Cecilio Garci reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, Angelo Erauso notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Leon Platense's Cecilio Garci. Cecilio Garci was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cecilio Garci took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelo Erauso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Leon Platense booed when Cable a Tierra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodolfo Hodei didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 47th minute, Siro Damario hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Saul Beltza to strike the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Cable a Tierra's Vinicio Gerazan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cecilio Garci. That made the score 0-3 after 51 minutes of play. A collision led to Cable a Tierra getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Arturo Piorno hit a great ball. Cecilio Garci took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cosme Turi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vinicio Gerazan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Cecilio Garci tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leon Platense's Cecilio Garci played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vinicio Gerazan in the 81st minute of play. Cosme Turi came free with the goalkeeper in the 91st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Cecilio Garci could save by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vinicio Gerazan in the 92nd minute of play forced Leon Platense's goalkeeper Cecilio Garci to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
