With his leg Clemente Louis managed to avoid a goal in the 20thth minute, when Plebeyos's Constantino Garcia fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 21st minute, Julio Michael hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 24th minute Aquilino Montay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baldomero Chumo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 28 minutes into the game, Moises Escobar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Clemente Louis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aquilino Montay in the 35th minute of play forced Plebeyos's goalkeeper Baldomero Chumo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Godfredo Artal's late challenge caught a Plebeyos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
