Emanuel Victoro started the match with the kick off. In the 4th play minute Emanuel Victoro came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Juan Pablo Comizzo. 1-0. Teofilo Gonsalve showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reynaldo Clemencin in the 9th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Victoro in the 15th minute of play forced Alejandra's goalkeeper Juan Pablo Comizzo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to El Gallo de Moron getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Marcial Rosario hit a great ball. Reynaldo Clemencin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Teofilo Gonsalve read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Juan Pablo Comizzo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Victoro in the 26th minute of play. In the 28th minute Bernardino D'Alessandro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teofilo Gonsalve saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Emanuel Victoro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. El Gallo de Moron's Teofilo Gonsalve played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reynaldo Clemencin in the 42nd minute of play. Filomeno Afonso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maximo Iraido kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 58th minute, Alvaro Eliu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Alejandra fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Modesto Ganix during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 60th minute, Modesto Ganix hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emanuel Victoro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Juan Pablo Comizzo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Modesto Ganix was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 66 minutes had been played. El Gallo de Moron's defense didn't have a chance, in the 71st minute, when Alvaro Eliu scored to the left of an out of position Teofilo Gonsalve, making the score, 1-2. After 83 minutes, Maximo Iraido mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El Gallo de Moron and the Alejandra players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Alejandra booed when El Gallo de Moron was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximo Iraido didn't get a good kick on the ball. Teofilo Gonsalve made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Alvaro Eliu sent off a good shot on target. In the 95th minute, Alejandra's Alvaro Eliu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Teofilo Gonsalve. Teofilo Gonsalve yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. When the match was over Alejandra could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than El Gallo de Moron throughout the match.
