Celedonio Incendio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximo Iraido, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Teofilo Gonsalve made an important save on a dangerous shot by Saverio Mederi in the 11th minute. Alfonso Tercero charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The supporters of POSSE 1911 FC booed when El Gallo de Moron was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfonso Tercero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Teofilo Gonsalve was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Esteban Llanos. After 15 played minutes El Gallo de Moron got a freekick which was hit by Alfonso Tercero. The long shot by Ernesto Barrionuevo in the 16th minute really tested Teofilo Gonsalve's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Teofilo Gonsalve showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Torres, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Angel Tirso hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Teofilo Gonsalve took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Torres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Teofilo Gonsalve made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carlos Odilon in the 26th minute. POSSE 1911 FC's Celedonio Incendio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Victoro in the 34th minute of play. Carlos Odilon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Teofilo Gonsalve made a huge save. Angel Tirso kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. In the 40th match minute, El Gallo de Moron was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel Odol to maneuver through the defense. Teofilo Gonsalve showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cosme Baraquiel, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute.

Celedonio Incendio was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Maximo Iraido showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 59 minute of play. Emanuel Victoro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celedonio Incendio having to interfere. Teofilo Gonsalve made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Torres in the 65th minute of play. 66 minutes into the match, Saverio Mederi notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of El Gallo de Moron's Teofilo Gonsalve. Teofilo Gonsalve was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 68 played minutes POSSE 1911 FC got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Odilon. Esteban Llanos made in the 70th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Ernesto Barrionuevo however managed to control. Celedonio Incendio came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by El Gallo de Moron's Maximo Iraido. But to his dismay, Maximo Iraido quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. 77 minutes into the game, Carlos Odilon cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Teofilo Gonsalve was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 88th minute Francisco Torres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teofilo Gonsalve saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carlos Odilon during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Carlos Odilon hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Ernesto Barrionuevo took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Teofilo Gonsalve. Teofilo Gonsalve dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Torres in the 97th minute of play forced El Gallo de Moron's goalkeeper Teofilo Gonsalve to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to El Gallo de Moron getting a freekick after 98 minutes play. Alfonso Tercero hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. POSSE 1911 FC had won after a very even match.
