Flavio Gaur made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Celedonio Nastasio sent off a good shot on target. Ricardo Tome struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Virgilio Rafel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for EL CORTO FC. Húsares's Virgilio Rafel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardo Tome in the 16th minute of play. Virgilio Rafel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidro Irrintzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 29 minutes, Ramon Abajas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Húsares and the EL CORTO FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 29th match minute, Húsares was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramon Abajas to maneuver through the defense. Flavio Gaur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teo Cucao, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32nd minute, Denis Llope hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Virgilio Rafel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidro Irrintzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Teo Cucao could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Flavio Gaur made a huge save. In the 38th minute of the match, Teo Cucao got a very nice opportunity to score, but Flavio Gaur was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Virgilio Rafel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baldomiro Javiero in the 40th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo Tome in the 42nd minute of play forced Húsares's goalkeeper Virgilio Rafel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 43 minutes into the match, Melquiades Atauri dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Flavio Gaur, 2-0. 47 minutes into the match, EL CORTO FC's goalkeeper Flavio Gaur had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Celedonio Nastasio. A hard shot 48 in the game by Teo Cucao from a close distance when the talented Flavio Gaur managed to make a qualified save. EL CORTO FC's players were relieved. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Baldomiro Javiero stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidro Irrintzi in the 55th minute of play forced Húsares's goalkeeper Virgilio Rafel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. EL CORTO FC's Flavio Gaur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teo Cucao in the 56th minute of play. Baldomiro Javiero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Virgilio Rafel made a huge save. A collision led to EL CORTO FC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Ciriaco Magdaleno hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teo Cucao in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Flavio Gaur saved EL CORTO FC from getting behind. Baldomiro Javiero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 77th minute, Arnaldo Beat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Baldomero Sustrai took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 78th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Flavio Gaur. EL CORTO FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 79 minutes into the match, Teo Cucao had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Flavio Gaur. EL CORTO FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Teo Cucao was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Isidro Irrintzi's late challenge caught a Húsares's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Isidro Irrintzi helped the player get up and apologised. Baldomero Sustrai took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 86th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Flavio Gaur. EL CORTO FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. EL CORTO FC's Flavio Gaur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teo Cucao in the 87th minute of play. After some careless play in the EL CORTO FC defense, Celedonio Nastasio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Flavio Gaur. The EL CORTO FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Flavio Gaur should have stopped the shot. When the referee ended the match the Húsares players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
