The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Húsares's Teo Cucao got a free kick in the 5th minute. Celedonio Nastasio's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Claudio Gustau firmly grabbed it by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardo Venceslao in the 12th minute of play forced Húsares's goalkeeper Luis Baumar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 15 minutes into the match, Japy Man's goalkeeper Claudio Gustau had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Melquiades Atauri. When Melquiades Atauri fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Húsares's protests and gave Melquiades Atauri a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Húsares getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Melquiades Atauri hit a great ball. Ramon Abajas hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardo Venceslao in the 22nd minute of play forced Húsares's goalkeeper Luis Baumar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Húsares's Teo Cucao sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Claudio Gustau narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Húsares's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Baldomero Sustrai in the 28th minute. Luis Baumar came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Japy Man's Bernardo Venceslao. But to his dismay, Bernardo Venceslao quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Japy Man's Claudio Gustau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melquiades Atauri in the 36th minute of play. After 38th play minutes Teo Cucao shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Claudio Gustau and just under the crossbar into goal. If Celedonio Nastasio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Celedonio Nastasio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Claudio Gustau made a huge save. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bernardo Venceslao to strike the kick off in the second half. Japy Man's Claudio Gustau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teo Cucao in the 54th minute of play. After 55 played minutes, Húsares's Celedonio Nastasio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Claudio Gustau came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Húsares reached it. In the 56th minute Teo Cucao shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudio Gustau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Teo Cucao in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Claudio Gustau prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bernardo Venceslao sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 64th minute, Dalmacio Odol got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Húsares's Baldomero Sustrai in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Japy Man's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teo Cucao in the 72nd minute of play forced Japy Man's goalkeeper Claudio Gustau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 78 played minutes Japy Man got a freekick which was hit by Fermin Cruz. In the 81stth minute of the game Teo Cucao who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Japy Man's Claudio Gustau was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Claudio Gustau didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Teo Cucao went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Teo Cucao put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Claudio Gustau. Melquiades Atauri took the ball and in the 97 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Claudio Gustau. Claudio Gustau dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Húsares's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
