After having played for 3 minutes, Rosendo Bilbo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Centeno's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rosendo Bilbo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Niceto Urritz charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Niceto Urritz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 7th minute, Niceto Urritz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Elvio Pelagius scored 0-1 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ildefonso Bernat, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 15th minute there was a penalty for Forever Tango. Jimeno Nahia stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ildefonso Bernat. 0-2. Centeno's Ildefonso Bernat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Generoso Osoro in the 18th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Centeno's zone, Jimeno Nahia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ildefonso Bernat came out of the goal and Jimeno Nahia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elvio Pelagius in the 22nd minute of play forced Centeno's goalkeeper Ildefonso Bernat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Forever Tango's Aristides Poncio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rosendo Bilbo in the 25th minute of play. 27 minutes into the game, Eustaquio Quinten recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Aristides Poncio. Eustaquio Quinten showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Elvio Pelagius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 35 minutes into the match, Niceto Urritz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ildefonso Bernat. Centeno's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Niceto Urritz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 55th minute Eustaquio Quinten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aristides Poncio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Centeno's zone, Niceto Urritz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ildefonso Bernat came out of the goal and Niceto Urritz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ildefonso Bernat made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elvio Pelagius in the 59th minute. A collision led to Centeno getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Ubaldo Tello hit a great ball. 68 minutes into the match, Teobaldo Cordarrol notched a goal, 3-3, to the right of Forever Tango's Aristides Poncio. Aristides Poncio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Aristides Poncio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ubaldo Tello in the 71st minute of the match. Ildefonso Bernat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Generoso Osoro, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. A collision led to Centeno getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. David Enol hit a great ball. Generoso Osoro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Ildefonso Bernat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maximino Lesardo's late challenge caught a Centeno's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maximino Lesardo helped the player get up and apologised. Maximino Lesardo hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Centeno were furious when Santo Seguinus was red carded, 83 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 83 played minutes Centeno got a freekick which was hit by Santo Seguinus. The supporters of Centeno booed when Forever Tango was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cesar Hondo didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had been going on for 95 minutes Jimeno Nahia shot a great shot from long distance. It looked like a certain goal, but the audience witnessed a really smashing save by Ildefonso Bernat when he caught the ball only just under the crossbar. Niceto Urritz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Ildefonso Bernat made a huge save. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Forever Tango walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
