Korn's Isidoro Ixaka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Genaro Leguizamón in the 3rd minute of play. Domingos Flores charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Domingos Flores the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 4th minute, Domingos Flores hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of A. Korn booed when Sacro Balompié was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaudencio Medero didn't get a good kick on the ball. 12 minutes into the game, Cesar Lauro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Isidoro Ixaka was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A. Korn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evelio Ilixo to maneuver through the defense. Sacro Balompié's Genaro Leguizamón got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jacobo Cristofol hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. 25 minutes into the match, Sacro Balompié's goal looked a bit too open when Fabian Chuan came free, but Aaron Bernad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Evelio Ilixo lost his temper 26 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Korn's Elias Millan fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 33 minutes into the match, Felipe Steven had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Isidoro Ixaka. A. Korn's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Felipe Steven was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Isidoro Ixaka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Steven in the 40th minute of play. After 40 minutes, Francisco Weather mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the A. Korn and the Sacro Balompié players grew even worse after the yellow card.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cesar Lauro was the one to do the kick off. Isidoro Ixaka made an important save on a dangerous shot by Genaro Leguizamón in the 51st minute. 58 minutes into the match, A. Korn's goal looked a bit too open when Cesar Lauro came free, but Isidoro Ixaka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sacro Balompié made a substitution. Emanuel Tonete replaced Genaro Jakobe. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cesar Lauro in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Isidoro Ixaka prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Isidoro Ixaka made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gaudencio Medero in the 70th minute. 73 minutes into the match, A. Korn's goal looked a bit too open when Cesar Lauro came free, but Isidoro Ixaka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th match minute, A. Korn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maxi López to maneuver through the defense. In the 80th minute, Gerardo Txeru ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aaron Bernad was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maximiliano Chepe got free with Isidoro Ixaka in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Aaron Bernad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerardo Txeru in the 86th minute of play. 92 minutes into the game, Jacobo Cristofol was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sacro Balompié's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave A. Korn the free kick. The supporters of A. Korn booed when Sacro Balompié was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Godfredo Viviano didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Fabian Chuan came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the A. Korn fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabian Chuan couldn't finish the play. When the match was over Sacro Balompié could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than A. Korn throughout the match.
